Peer Tutors: Job Description
Peer tutors help students with math on a walk-in basis in the Math Center. To be a peer tutor, you must meet University employment eligibility requirements, and have already passed Calculus III. You must have earned a B or better in all three courses in the Calculus sequence, with an overall math GPA of 3.0 or better. Some exceptions may be made to these grade requirements, under special circumstances. PASS Mentor: Job Description
Mentors are experienced PASS Leaders who have excellent group facilitation skills, strong communication skills and a desire to help their fellow PASS Leaders. Mentors work weekly with a small group of Leaders on their session preparation and group facilitation. To be a PASS mentor, you must meet University employment eligibility requirements, have been a PASS Leader for at least one semester and have earned an "Exceeds Expectations" or "Outstanding" on the most recent performance evaluation. To apply, fill out the application and return it to Dr. Dorrington in the Math Center, Engineering 233, either in person or via email.

PASS Leaders: Job Description
The Leaders are the core of the Peer-Assisted Study model. A PASS leader is a student who has done well in the course for which she or he is the session leader, and is trained in group study techniques. The leader attends class, keeps up with the work of the class along with the other students, and leads two 1 1/2 hour sessions per week. Session leaders learn valuable group moderating skills, as well as building their organizational skills and course content knowledge. To be a PASS leader, you must meet University employment eligibility requirements, have already taken the class and earned a B or better, be creative and proactive. Social Science Statistics Tutor: Job Description
Statistics tutors help students from across the university on a walk-in basis in the Math Center.  Tutors must meet the University employment eligibility requirements, and must demonstrate excellence in the area in which they wish to tutor. Statistics tutors must be graduate students or advanced undergraduates and must be able to help with basic statistics through research. Computer Science Tutor: Job Description
Computer Science tutors help students with computer science coursework on a walk-in basis in the Math Center.  Tutors must meet the University employment eligibility requirements, and must demonstrate excellence in the area in which they wish to tutor.  To apply, fill out the application, and return it to Dr. Dorrington in the Math Center, Engineering 233, either in person or via email.

Front Desk Assistant: Job Description
Front desk assistants monitor the sign-in computer, check out textbooks, maintain the center, and are responsible for special projects as they arise. To be hired as a front desk assistant, you must meet the University employment eligibility requirements. Applicants with a work study award are especially welcome, although this is not a requirement.
