Drop-In Tutoring
Fall 2026 Tutoring
The Math Center offers drop-in in-person and online tutoring and, in conjunction with the Department of Mathematics, Peer-Assisted Study Sessions in selected math courses. During our open hours, you can drop into the Math Center in Kraemer Family Library 211, or chat with a tutor live in MS Teams. Math and Physics tutors are available in the Math Center - Math & Physics team, computer science tutors are available through the Math Center - CS Tutoring team, and you can find social science statistics tutors in the Math Center - Statistics team. You can join any one (or all) of these teams and post comments or questions at any time, however, tutors are only available live during their scheduled hours.
Drop-in Tutoring Schedules
Math: During the hours the Center is open, we have multiple tutors on duty to help with mathematics courses. The tutors are UCCS undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in math, physics, computer science, engineering or another related field. Every tutor can work with students in mathematics classes from Math 099-Intermediate Algebra through Math 2350-Calculus 3, and many of them also work with students in Math 2150-Discrete Math and 3000-level math classes. We can provide some assistance with other upper level math classes, on a case-by-case basis. See the list of subjects & tutors on the Online Tutoring page for details.
Physics: Physics tutoring is available in the Center or on the Math Center - Math & Physics team at the following times. Physics tutors are also available in the UCCS Excel Science Center. Check their schedule for times.

Computer Science: CS tutors are available in the Center or on the Math Center - CS team at the following times. Check with the Computer Science department for availability of course TA's for additional assistance. Some of our CS tutors can also help with INFS courses. Ask at the front desk for help finding a tutor.
